Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Account prospecting to fortune 1000 customers of North America and Articulate the value proposition of Pragma Edge products / solutions / services, and offerings.
  • Role is account based not region based.
  • New Business development and management.
  • Demand generation through different methodologies like emails, calls, social media marketing etc. over assigned industry verticals aligning with Pragma Edge products / offerings.
  • Lead generation for high-level requirement analysis through discovery meeting and updating the leads / opportunities records into the CRM systems.
  • Coordinate with Pre-Sales, product-development team for solution demos.
  • Nurture the qualified leads / opportunities through regular follow-ups for further progression towards deal success and work towards customer success to deliver above & beyond customer expectations.
  • Identify new business opportunities within current client base; up sell.
  • Manage sales cycle; new business sales and cross-sell
  • Develop relationship with IBM sales leader over assigned potential accounts generating qualified leads & opportunities and working together for progression towards deal success.
  • Building an effective sales-pipeline meeting the set targeted sales goals.
  • Be accountable and responsible towards the work, deliver assigned targets with the highest quality meeting the timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • MBA in Sales & Marketing most preferred.
  • Min. 1+ years B2B Sales experience selling IT products / solutions / consulting services.
  • Responsible for sales and achieving revenue goals set by management
  • Experience identifying new business opportunities and closing deals
  • Experience identifying businesses from existing clients and upsell / cross sell.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM
