Sterling B2B Integrator - Install EBICS Client Module Manually

The IBM Installation Manager installs the EBICS Client module automatically if you select the Financial Services Module option either when you install Sterling B2B Integrator or upgrade from a previous version of Sterling B2B Integrator.

1. Stop Sterling B2B Integrator.
2. Close all command prompt windows.
3. If your database password is encrypted, decrypt the password.
4. Close all command prompt windows.
5. Update the license file to include the license for EBICS Client:
   1. Open a command prompt window.
   2. Run the following command:
      • For Microsoft Windows: install_dir\bin\AddLicenseSet.cmd install_dir\ properties\licensefiles\Fin_Serv_License.xml
      • For UNIX: install_dir\bin\AddLicenseSet.sh install_dir\ properties\licensefiles\Fin_Serv_License.xml
6. Install the EBICS Client JAR file:
   1. Open a command prompt window.
   2. Run the following command:
      • For Microsoft Windows: install_dir\bin\InstallService.cmd install_dir\packages\v_ebics_client_version number_build number.jar
      • For UNIX: install_dir\bin\InstallService.sh install_dir\packages\v_ebics_client_version number_build number.jar
7. If you decrypted the database password, re-encrypt the password.
8. Start Sterling B2B Integrator.
